Thailand has a long history of rice cultivation, particularly jasmine rice in the northeast. \u201cSurin Hom Mali Rice\u201d is one of the varieties of Hom Rice, and it comes in 2 sub-varieties: Khao Dawk Mali 105 (White Jasmine 105) and R.D. 15 (Kor Koh 15), both of which are produced in Surin province and certified as a geographical indication (GI). They are the intellectual assets of the locals, representing their uniqueness and wisdom as well as a cultural value in rice cultivation, such as having elephants to help with agriculture. Hom-Nin rice is a dark purple rice that is fragrant and high in protein. It\u2019s also a good source of vitamin B, iron, zinc, copper, calcium, and potassium, which are higher than those in white jasmine rice. It has dark purple grain tissue that contains anthocyanin, flavonoids, and vitamin E. Hom-Nin rice contains 7 times more antioxidants than other brown rice. Each year, our home care product line contributes to the oversupply of fruits by purchasing crops from farmers at a reasonable price without lowering it.
